transition smartphone apps

Postby BreeonnaAlexys » Sat May 12, 2012 8:00 pm

I was curious if anyone knew of any good apps that help with transition? Like voice apps, exercise apps or others. I know theres a few makeup tutorial apps, and HRT time apps.

There's a guitar tuning app on the Android Market called gstrings, it's good to use to measure your pitch.

When I practice my voice I use the AudioMemos app to record myself. Without it I would really have no way of knowing that I sound alright. Turns out my voice in my head always sounds higher pitched than in real life. If I think I sound like Minie Mouse, I probably sound fine.

I have used an app called SpectrumView to see if I was hitting the right pitch, but it glitches up a lot so I can't recommend it.

I use the Camera and Photos apps to track how much facial hair has fallen out from laser treatments. It's useful to see how far you have come.

The Reminders app has been indispensable in making sure I'm not late for appointments all the time.

As a software developer who needs to work on improving her mobile development skills, I'd be interested in building an app or set of apps. Obviously, I'd have immediate personal use for such a thing, too.

So, what sort of features would you find useful?

There are quite a few features that would be useful in the app. But there are a couple I can think of that would be pretty much general for anyone

Voice Training function
HRT timer/reminder
possibly some type of User recommended places(like when someone comes across a business of some sort that is TG friendly)

Those are just 3 of the most useful and "universal" functions I personally can think of. Im sure there would be more. I know that for the HRT timer/reminder and user recommended places there are apps out ther, but it would be nice to have them in 1 place so you dont have to buy and download mulitple apps.

I currently have a TouchPro 2 (6.5 window mobile, old school, yeah...) and plan on upgrading soon to the EVO or the Motorola Photon (both Android)

I'd imagine iPhones are a popular choice of device.
