It would be my luck to get a vagina transplant from Abby Normal. If anything, I think an auto-cloned vagina would be less frankensteinian than a transplant, as all the parts would come from one person, instead of being assembled from multiples.
The problem with a transplant is the anti-rejection meds you'd have to take. With one cloned from your own cells, that's not a problem, as the immune system sees them as "self".

I think this is awesome. It would have its own lubrication too. Why can't they mix both methods, growing the interior lining from your own cells and using the nerve endings and stuff from the persons current equipment for the other part? viola.

i had no idea lubrication was such an issue. perhaps i've just been blessed in that area because i don't have a problem. to all the other post ops on the boards, is lubrication an issue for you?

I'm a bit concerned being that I haven't found any new information on this since the TGD comic (which I had been following when it was posted).
